Motor dealer technology company Webzation – whose products are in use at more than 600 car dealer locations in the UK – is set to relaunch as iVendi from October 22.

The change is being made as the company moves away from standalone e-commerce solutions designed to handle specific elements of the car finance and buying process towards a new platform based approach.

Chief executive officer James Tew said: “We are redesigning the company, its products and its processes from the ground up and it makes sense to rebrand when our thinking is changing so radically.

“While we will continue to provide and support the existing Webzation software that has proven popular with new and used car and van dealers, we will soon be unveiling our new platform and some very innovative products.”

iVendi was founded three years ago and has offices in Manchester and Abergele, North Wales. It best known product is Quoteware, which allows dealers to present a range of finance products into their own websites.

Dealers and lenders using iVendi products include MotoNovo Finance, Cambria Automobiles, Carshop, Sandicliffe and TC Harrison.

Tew said: “All of the lessons that we have learned from working with dealers, finance houses and their customers on Quoteware and our other products are being put to good use with the launch of iVendi.”
