Cartwright was looking to leave employment and go it alone. However, he had little experience of running his own business or knowing the ins and outs of owning a business car.

Johnstone went through a number of vehicles with Cartwright and worked through procurement options that would help him retain capital for the start-up business.

Johnstone secured Cartwright a Yaris Hybrid via Access Toyota in time for the business launch, which enabled him to claim the full write-down tax allowance due to its low emissions rating.

Cartwright got the car he wanted and with a method that generated the start-up business a further £3,200 of tax-free income in its first year of trading. The dealership also included the first two services free of charge, a small expense for the dealership, in order to assist the business in its early days.

    Probably the worst service provider in the UK is Vodafone. It is impossible, I mean impossible to get an email reply from them.
