Swansway Honda’s £400k refurb to be completed by Christmas

Bolton-based Swansway Honda’s £400k refurbishment is due to be completed by Christmas.

The site on Folds Road in Bolton Town centre, formerly Gordon’s Honda, was acquired in 2015 by Swansway Motor Group. The refurb will see it become “one of the most modern Honda centres in the country”.

Director David Smyth said: “I’m Bolton born and bred, so it had real personal meaning when acquired the dealership.

"We’ve been working hard on lots of areas, starting with re-branding used car sales, now under our Motor Match umbrella.

“We now have around 40 Motor Match used cars on display and this has led to a trebling in the number of used cars we sell.

“Now we’re looking at the environment for our customers and are completely refurbishing the showroom area.

"£1/2 million is a lot of money to invest, but we believe that customers will appreciate the new, more relaxed environment and the investment really shows how committed we are to staying in the town.”

The refurbishment began two weeks ago and is due to be completed by Christmas.
