Motorline has relocated its Lexus Cardiff dealership to a new build 1.1 acre site next to the group’s Toyota site.

Motorline acquired the business five years ago and while Lexus has been in the Welsh capital for over 12 years, the company said it required new facilities to cater for Lexus’ expanding range and to handle increased sales volumes for the South Wales market area.

The new dealership boasts a dedicated six-car workshop with MoT facility and the ability to display 40 used vehicles along with a nine car showroom.

Thomas Obee, Motorline chief executive, said: ‘‘Since acquiring Lexus Cardiff we have seen sales and aftersales increase year-on-year, the timing of this relocation is ideal as business model for Lexus continues to grow in a market where consumers are increasingly looking at the extensive range of hybrid models offered by the brand.”

In June 2018 Motorline will also complete the relocation of their Hyundai dealership at Worcester following a refurbishment of the former Hylton site at Bromyard Road, Worcester.
