Tootle has launched a new progressive comparison tool which allows car buyers to compare offers from dealers and car buying service companies.

The tool will work hand in hand with Tootle’s pre-vetted dealership network, which includes Sytner, Jardine Motors and Inchcape, to the RAC dealer network.

Tootle’s director of digital, Amy Buckley, said: “In using the new comparison tool, the buying process will become even easier, enabling consumers to view and compare dealer bids and car buying service companies’ offers and location, so that they receive the best possible price for their car at all times.”

The new app will see franchised retailers compete against the likes of We Want Any Car and The Car Buying Group for stock, with a total of six partners to the platform at the initial stage.

WeWantAnyCar.com’s managing director, Pat Mooney, said: “We’re really looking forward to working with Tootle. Together, both businesses can create a straightforward and enjoyable experience for each of our customers. We believe this to be an exciting step forward for WeWantAnyCar.com.”

Tootle’s chief executive, Gordon Tulloch, said: “Tootle’s new car buying aggregator tool is an exciting tech development, which will not only enhance our position as the consumer’s champion, but will also enable us to expand into other areas of the car sales market, supporting continued growth and development.”
