Robins & Day, the PSA owned dealer group, will create a Peugeot, Citroen and DS “super site” in Chiswick, West London next year.

The multi-franchise showroom will be on the Chiswick roundabout and is part of a “multi-million pound” investment programme for dealers in the London area. Robins & Day is rolling out multi-franchise dealerships that feature all three brands and already has tri-brand showrooms in Manchester and Birmingham.

Robins & Day currently has seven other sites in redevelopment, with three others due to start this year.

The Citroen franchise has also just been added to its previously solus Peugeot dealership in Walton-on-Thames.

The site, on Hersham Road, has undergone a redevelopment to add the Citroën franchise to the existing building.

In its first year of operation, Robins & Day Walton will be aiming for a combined sales of 1,500 units across the Peugeot and Citroën franchises.

As well as the two showrooms, there is a 12 bay workshop and two MoT bays, supported by an off-site parts hub, as well as a soon to open commercial centre.

The site was opened by James Weston, Robins & Day chief executive, together with Citroën UK managing director Karl Howkins.

Weston said: “Walton has long been a successful Peugeot operation for us, and the addition of Citroën creates an even greater opportunity whilst controlling our cost base.

“The site is a clear statement of our intent in the UK market and underlines our support to the PSA brands.”
