Seat and Skoda are offering new car customers three months of free car ownership during the COVID-19 coronavirus lockdown as part of finance packages launched this week.

The two Volkswagen Group brands have launched the Solutions Personal Contract Plan (PCP), which also serves up sizeable deposit contributions.

Skoda’s scheme covers its entire range of vehicles and offers deposit contributions of up to £4,250 (Kodiaq SUV), starting with a £2,250 contribution for Karoq SUV purchases.

All Kamiq, Scala, Karoq, Octavia, Kodiaq, Superb and Superb iV models come with option of a £159 Service Plan – the Fabia’s is £99 – and this covers the first two consecutive services.

Interest rate vary from 3.1% APR on the Kodiaq SUV to 4.4% on the Kamiq SUV and agreement terms of 36 to 49 months are available on through the package.

All cars must be ordered by July 1 and delivered by October 1 to be eligible for the Skoda finance offer.

Highlighting its Virtual Showroom online car research platform, a statement from the Czech brand said: “Although Skoda retailer showrooms remain closed to visit, the brand’s team of new car experts are working digitally and via the phone.

“Customers looking to take advantage of these latest deals are advised to make contact via phone or live chat.

Seat’s Solutions Personal Contract Plan (PCP) offers deposit contributions of £1,000 to £3,000 and the same 12 weeks’ payment free motoring as the Skoda offer at 5.9% APR representative finance rate over a 48-month, 10,000-mile term.

In addition to this, customers can benefit from two services included for £149 and an additional £500 contribution if the order is placed before the June 30.
