The AM 2021 Outlook Survey: new year, new car retail challenges

AM 2021 Outlook Survey

As car retailers dust themselves down after the rigours of an unpredictable 2020 AM has compiled a three-minute survey to learn of the sectors’ hopes, fears, challenges and opportunities in 2021.

After adapting to the various impact of COVID-19, stringent new EU emissions regulations and mounting uncertainty about the shape of Britain’s exit from the EU, the UK’s car retail sector must step-up once more to deliver another successful 12 months in one of the nation’s most rapidly-evolving sectors.

Businesses re-shaped in leaner, more efficient and digital-savvy form for a new era of automotive retail must now continue to drive sales in a more socially-distanced manner while stepping-up to the demands of new FCA finance regulations, ongoing COVID uncertainty and a continued push towards EVs.

Please share your thoughts about the year ahead in our short ‘2021 Outlook Survey’, and help AM kick-off the New Year with insight that could both inform and guide the road ahead for fellow retailers, below:
