Autorola UK has bolstered its head count with three new recruits following a 15% growth, post lockdown, across its Autofind online remarketing portal and its Indicata real time used vehicle data pricing platform.

Brett Henderson and John Upson have both joined Autorola’s sales team as national business development managers, with responsibility for the company’s relationship with the top 50 leasing companies and leading 200 car dealership groups.

Henderson has worked in used car auctions for the past 14 years and joins from Aston Barclay, while Upson has worked in the automotive sector for two decades both for OEMs and in the remarketing sector. He joins from FCA.

Nick Wiseman has joined Indicata as a national business development manager to help continue its growth supplying OEMs and dealers with real time used car pricing and sales data.

Wiseman has spent the past 10 years in the motor finance, remarketing and automotive technology sectors.

Autorola’s Autofind online trade used vehicle portal has witnessed “unprecedented” levels of bids and sales since the Coronavirus lockdown, with prices regularly making £1,000 more than the used value guides.

Bidding at online auctions for fleet vendors such as Arval has also been brisk with most sales returning a 100% conversion rate.

Indicata’s used car data continues to prove popular to OEMs such as Skoda and Nissan and major dealer groups, helping to further increase sales and profitability across their used car businesses.

“Our business has reported strong growth for the past two years and unprecedented growth levels since the country came out of lockdown,” said Jon Mitchell, Autorola UK’s group sales director.

“Our new sales team will further contribute to this growth as we anticipate used car sales will remain strong for the remainder of 2020 and into 2021,” he added.
