Vertu Motors plc will redouble its focus on placing video and imagery at the heart of digital marketing campaigns after rolling out of AutosOnShow technology across its network.

The rollout across 17 franchises at a total of 112 dealerships was completed in record time thanks to the use of online and in-app training, the supplier claimed.

Tom Cummings, group internet and digital marketing manager at Vertu Motors plc, said: “Digital media is central to winning new customers and building levels of engagement. Our work with AutosOnShow has led to greater brand consistency and driven sales.”

Vertu uses the AutosOnShow Dealer Solution to capture high-quality video and imagery of their stock.

The images are catalogued using an advanced number plate recognition system that pulls information from the DVLA.

Images and data are then automatically uploaded to websites and classified sites through an API.

Adam Price from AutosOnShow said: “The rollout was completed in just three months and the platform is now seeing 1,000 vehicles uploading weekly.”

He added: “We have built an effective solution for dealers that provide a consistent look and feel that supports both retailer and manufacturer brands and can be integrated and used quickly and easily.”
