Qube Automotive Consultancy has gained a contract from Kia to provide business intelligence and performance reporting of the UK Kia dealer network.

As Kia Motors UK seeks to reinforce its position after years of growth in new car market share and nears its Vision 100 aim set back in 2011 of 100,000 annual new car sales, the partnership with Qube is expected to help it manage the 190-strong franchised dealer network and nine standalone authorised repairers effectively.

Qube will provide Kia with analysis on a range of performance indicators through both consultancy and management reporting systems.

Qube said its services will enable Kia and its appointed dealers to retain and grow OE parts sales, to better understand existing sales and new opportunities in the UK market, and to develop future strategies to support future OE parts sales growth.

“Our role is to provide manufacturers with the holistic insight and in-depth intelligence needed to make the best strategic decisions at every level of the business. The team at Qube are delighted that Kia has entrusted us with this important responsibility and we look forward to partnering with them in the years ahead,” said Seamus O’Donnell, a director at Qube.

Kia's chief executive Paul Philpott recently told AM he thinks the company's existing strategy is good for achieving 120,000 sales in the long term.

Qube’s clients also include Nissan GB, Toyota GB and Lexus GB.
