Ford Retail holds customer events to boost parts business

Ford Retail has hosted a series of three customer events to promote its parts distribution business, @First Parts Solutions.

Almost 900 people representing over 300 companies attended the events, which were held at the company’s centres in Wakefield, Bristol and Thurrock.

Attractions included special offers, Formula One and Ford Rally simulators, the chance to win hospitality tickets to this season’s UEFA Champions League and a sneak preview of the new Ford Transit Custom.

The motor industry charity, BEN, also has a fundraising presence at each event.

Jon Harte, managing director of @First Parts Solutions, said: “These events are a new initiative designed to foster stronger links with our customers by bringing them in to see behind-the-scenes of how we operate.

“We expect this will be the start of regular customer events as @First Parts Solutions continues to expand.”
