Autoglass technician Steve Marelli has beaten thousands of applicants from across the world to be recognised as the world’s best vehicle glass replacement technician at the prestigious Best of Belron competition.
Organised since 2000 by the global automotive glass supplier Belron, the competition challenges glass repair technicians to demonstrate their skills on all aspects of their job including how to repair and replace a windscreen; a side and rear window, as well as customer communication skills.
Marelli, an ATA accredited master technician from Scampton, Lincolnshire, becomes the first person from the UK to win the global competition.
