Marshall Motors has completed the refurbishment of its Volvo Cars UK franchise in Grantham.
Bringing the dealership, on Spittlegate Level, Grantham, in-line with the Swedsish premium carmaker’s Volvo Retail Experience (VRE) corporate identity (CI), the work has centred around a desire to create a “relaxed” sales environment, according to Geoff Wicks, the site’s retailer principal.
The full re-opening of the Volvo Grantham facility comes a months after Marshall completed the acquisition of the Derby Volvo franchise from Vertu Motors.
It also follows recent developments in the Volvo franchised network which have included the opening of Stoneacre Motor Group’s new Sheffield dealership and Ray Chapman Motors official opening of its new Volvo dealership in York.
Commenting on the changes that have been introduced at Marshall Volvo Grantham, Wicks said: “The team and I are all very excited to unveil our brand new showroom.
“Our recent refurbishment isn’t just about a change of furniture, it’s designed to make our customers feel relaxed and at ease in an environment that provides flexible waiting, working and assessment areas.”
Among the key changes made at the site are the introduction of a new-look signature lounge area complete with Scandinavian-designed furniture, free Wi-Fi and Swedish cakes and coffee.
Large exterior and interior glazing also allows customers to see all activity in the new workshops, meanwhile.
Marshall Grantham will also be offering the new Volvo Personal Service, which means that technicians will liaise with the customer from the point of booking, right through to explaining the services which they themselves will have carried out.
Two personal service technicians work together on each car, reducing the time it takes for the service to be carried out.
As the wait time is reduced, customers are encouraged to stay and enjoy Marshall Grantham’s new lounge area, and make the most of the refreshments on offer.
