CitNOW has delivered a series of training workshops to Skoda retailer across the UK to help them maximise their use of the company’s innovative video technology.

The Skoda Video Roadshow delivered onsite training in 117 sites to 735 technicians and service advisors and mirrors the programme undertaken by Volkswagen in 2015.

Skoda UK parts and products manager, Lisa Hartley, said that this year’s initiative been hugely successful.

“CitNOW was flexible and supportive in everything it delivered for us,” she said. “The feedback from our retailers has been good and there is a genuine feeling that the ones who were already using video now understand the benefits in doing things differently and taking things to the next level.”

More than 50% of the UK franchised dealer network is now using some form of video technology, according to CitNow.

CitNOW works with 31 OEMs across Europe and 91 of the Top 100 dealer groups in the UK.

Alistair Jeff, managing director UK at CitNOW, said: “It’s all very well customers having our products on board but, if they’re not maximising the use of them to build on their bottom line, there’s little point in them investing in the first place.

“The training programmes and help we can offer to deliver genuine business impact is as valuable as the products themselves.”
