Construction has started on a new showroom for local Volvo retailer, Arnold Clark Stirling.

Eight Volvo cars will be showcased, as well as an additional 100 cars on its new forecourt.

It will feature Scandinavian furniture and will include free Wi-Fi and coffee.

Ewan Hutcheson, retailer principal at Arnold Clark Stirling, said: “The team and I are all very excited that construction work has begun on our new showroom.

“The refurbishment is not just about a change of furniture; it has been designed to make our customers feel even more relaxed and at ease in an environment that provides flexible waiting, working and assessment areas.

“The investment in the site demonstrates the high level of importance we place on making the Volvo customer experience as individual and as enjoyable as possible.

“We cannot wait to welcome customers for a cup of coffee and a chat about their car purchase and servicing needs in our new home later this year.”

The new site will be based on Kerse Road, around half a mile from the current site, and is set to be completed in December.

Another key feature will include a large exterior and interior glazing to allow customers to see everything taking place inside and outside the workshops

The latest technology will be available to technicians so they’re able to maintain each customer’s Volvo.

Its current showroom remains fully operational and will continue to offer both new and used Volvo vehicles, and help with customer queries, until the completion of the new site.
