Expert AM webinar panel to advise on car sales customer enquiry best practice

AM ‘General Managers' Guide to… Effective Sales Enquiry Management’ webinar

In the wake of a COVID-prompted shift in the way car retailers engage with their customers a panel of experts are set to debate consumer enquiry best practice in an AM webinar tomorrow.

The ‘General Managers' Guide to… Effective Sales Enquiry Management’ webinar is a free, 45-minute online event starting at 2pm tomorrow (August 17).

Being hosted by AM in partnership with RAPID RTC, it will draw on car retailer and manufacturer experiences to open a debate on how best to ensure customer leads are maximised and deliver tips and advice on best practice.

Sitting on the webinar panel will be: Nigel Hurley, the chief executive of CarShop; Peter Smyth, group director, Swansway Motor Group; Dale Wyatt, director of Automobile, Suzuki GB; Martin Dillow, sales development director at TrustFord; and Darren Preddy, director, dealer sales UK, RAPID RTC.

Webinar host, AM news and features editor Tom Sharpe, said: “We’ve assembled a great panel of guest for the latest in the series of AM’s General Managers' Guide to… webinars and I’m looking forward to tapping in to their advice for listeners.

“COVID brought about a shift in the way retailers approach customer enquiries, with a far wider range of platforms to take into account and far greater flexibility required of sales teams. It will be interesting to see what fundamentals of good customer service lie at the heart of the best enquiry response strategies.”

During the course of the webinar, viewers will be encouraged to submit questions to help them gain further understanding on certain aspects of the conversation.

Those wanting to guarantee their place to view tomorrow’s webinar should register today via the AM website.
