Stoneacre Motor Group’s staff development programme has a vision of allowing anyone to progress from trainee to director, should they desire.

Stoneacre wants to provide a “careers for life” programme that gives every employee an equal opportunity to train, be ambitious, grow their experience and ensure a clear career path.

To support this, it created the Stoneacre Academy in late 2015. It is now possibly the only independent motor company to have its own dedicated Ofsted-regulated further education school, passing all regulations in line with the Common Inspectors Framework of Further Education and Skills. It has taken leading occupational experts and a senior management from the industry and made them qualified teachers. In August 2016, it achieved the national award ‘matrix standard’.

The Stoneacre Academy offers quality training to nurture, mentor and improve their skills, gain qualifications and aid career prospects. Most of its managers have been promoted internally.
