Dealer management systems supplier DMS Navigator has issued the second version of the system in 20 years – free of charge.

Every element of the Navigator DMS has been re-written, upgraded and delivered free of charge to every Navigator user across the UK.

New features of the Navigator 2.0. include; touchscreen capabilities, greater functionality, new user interfaces and new interfaces to third party products and manufacturer systems.

DMS Navigator’s managing director, Simon Verona (pictured) said: “Every single Navigator user has benefitted from a fully future-proofed, upgraded and fully re-written version of the system free of charge. We know that many DMS suppliers see the introduction of a new system as a reason to charge for the refresh and then slowly stop supporting the previous version, but we don’t think that is fair.

“Just about every element has been improved and upgraded. We issue specific element upgrades free of charge throughout the year, as we develop and enhance different areas of the DMS, but this is our very first full system re-write and so can be described as Navigator 2.0.”
