Manheim signs two-year deal with Carzam

Manheim Auction Services has announced a new two-year contract with online used car retailer, Carzam.

Carzam, which launched in December 2020, will begin a new weekly auction programme at the Cox Automotive-owned physical car auction network’s centres in Colchester and Wimbledon.

It will also be working with Manheim to integrate eVA, its valuations and appraisals tool, on to its website allowing Carzam users to access valuations online.

Carzam recently announced it expanded its senior management team with the appointments of two motor trade experts.

Manheim will start its new weekly auction programme in partnership with Carzam on January 21, 2021 at the two sites, with the auctions delivered through its virtual auction system Simulcast due to the current COVID-19 restrictions.

"They are a hugely exciting and innovative business – offering customers a wide-range of used cars to suit their needs, which are then delivered straight to doorsteps nationwide.

“By also integrating eVA to their website, Manheim will provide Carzam with accurate and real time vehicle valuations.

“This is great news for Manheim and demonstrates the importance of providing services that meet customer needs throughout the remarketing process.

"I’m delighted that Carzam has chosen to work with us on a sole-supplier basis too and look forward to seeing Carzam go from strength-to-strength.”

Cox Automotive said that Carzam and Manheim will also be exploring future opportunities to remarket vehicles through Dealer Auction - Cox Automotive’s joint venture with Auto Trader.
