CitNOW acquires automotive messaging platform Web1on1

CitNOW Group is expanding its international portfolio with the acquisition of multi-channel messaging software platform, Web1on1.

The group said the integration of Web1on1 will allow CitNOW to broaden the reach, functionality, and flexibility of its digital communications products throughout the customer journey.

The existing Web1on1 team will continue to support and develop the platform with several synergies across the existing CitNOW Group product suite, which is set to benefit sales and service teams, dealer marketeers and customer care teams globally, CitNOW said.

Geoffrey Page-Morris, chief executive officer of CitNOW Group, said: “Web1on1 is an outstanding communication platform, and this collaboration between two technology leaders in automotive dealership software has the potential to transform the way many businesses operate and communicate with their customers.

This latest acquisition follows the integration of Dealerweb, Tootle and Reef Business Systems and Quik, into the CitNOW Group.

CitNOW won the Supplier of the Year category at the 2022 AM Awards, its third consecutive win of the trophy, which is voted for by AM readers.

Joost Rijlaarsdam of Web1on1 added: “For the last 12 years, we’ve bootstrapped Web1on1 and earned the trust of hundreds of dealerships and brands across Europe.
