The Ionity electric vehicle (EV) charge point infrastructure joint venture has welcomed Korean car brands Hyundai and Kia as its latest shareholders.
Hyundai has unveiled plans to extend its production of hydrogen fuel-cell technology beyond its cars as part of its ‘FCEV Vision 2030’.
Future Hyundai and Kia cars will incorporate a ‘solar roof” that will generate electricity to support the vehicles’ powertrain.
