Kia Motors UK has signed a deal to supply its franchised network with an innovative cosmetic repair tool.

The agreement will allow the Korean brand's workshops to use AkzoNobel's Stickerfix product as a Kia branded consumable for cosmetic repairs.

Stickerfix is positioned by AkzoNobel as as a high performance, eco-friendly and cost effective solution for minor scratches.

It is supplied as a consumable in branded Kia packaging, and the initiative has already seen nearly two thirds of the network ordering point of sale stands and display stock during initial launch.

Paul Turner, KMUK parts manager, said: "We have worked with AkzoNobel for many years in a variety of different aftersales areas of our business, and have established a strong working relationship.

"Stickerfix is a unique repair solution and the first AkzoNobel consumable product to be launched with Kia branding. With all the associated marketing material and proactive support from the AkzoNobel team we are confident that it will prove popular and we will see growth in our aftermarket sales.
