Bristol Street Motors has opened a specialist Hyundai service centre at its Newcastle Vauxhall dealership.

The site’s existing technicians have undergone extensive, brand-specific training, to ensure that Hyundai’s service, parts and body repair requirements can be met within its warranty conditions.

Specialist equipment has been installed in the 28-bay workshop, and a bespoke servicing and waiting area created for Hyundai customers.

The dealership, which already supports the maintenance needs of more than 600 vehicles a month, expects to see its aftersales business grow as the number of used vehicles on the UK’s roads continues to rise.

Liam Fenwick, general manager at Bristol Street Motors Vauxhall Newcastle, said: “There has been a rise in the number of used vehicles on our roads, which due to age, plus wear and tear, obviously require more servicing and maintenance. We recognise that it can be expensive, which is why Hyundai offers monthly servicing payment plans.

“This investment is fantastic for Hyundai owners in and around Newcastle, bringing approved servicing to the City. I am very pleased with the result of the work. It gives a positive first impression when visiting the dealership and is a great environment for both colleagues and customers.”

The new aftersales centre expands Bristol Street Motor’s Hyundai presence in the Newcastle area, building on its existing Hyundai Silverlink business in the city.
