JCT600 opens £1m Ferrari supercar service centre in Newcastle

JCT600 has opened the doors to a new £1 million Ferrari supercar service centre in Newcastle ahead of the opening of its new Leeds showroom later this year.

The AM100 franchised car retail group expanded the Italian supercar maker’s aftersales proposition beyond its current 12 UK sales and service facilities this week, with another franchisee poised to open a similar facility in Kent later this month.

Ferrari North Europe now has three sites dedicated to provide a range of Ferrari Aftersales services for Ferrari cars of all ages.

Tom Armstrong, brand director for JCT600’s specialist brands, said: “Having partnered with Ferrari for over 40 years, this investment marks our continued commitment to strengthening our relationship with one of the most coveted car marques in the world as well as expanding our offering to customers in the North East of England.

“Our facilities in Newcastle will give Ferrari customers the convenience of carrying out servicing and repairs close to home, as well as complementing our JCT600 Ferrari showroom in Leeds by displaying a selection of pre-owned cars from Ferrari’s extensive back catalogue.”

The new facility in Newcastle comes as Bradford-based JCT600 continues work on the development of a completely new Ferrari dealership in Leeds, which is scheduled to open at the end of the year.

Late last year AM reported that the operation to replace the group’s iconic Brooklands dealership is set to be the highest value project ever undertaken by the business.

JCT600’s new Newcastle Ferrari service centre has four service bays and a six-car showroom for the brand’s used cars, including a selection from the Ferrari Approved programme for cars up to 15-years-old.
