Robins & Day adds its first Fiat and Abarth showrooms

The first Fiat and Abarth franchises have been adopted by manufacturer-owned AM100 dealer group Robins & Day by Stellantis &You UK, as it continues to broaden its portfolio to reflect the variety of brands now held by Stellantis.

Fiat and Abarth sales and service are being added to its dealership network, starting with its Sale and Birmingham Central sites which already represent its historic Peugeot brand.

The flagship dealerships will be the first within the Robins & Day network to offer models including the new fully electric Fiat 500e and Abarth 596 and 695 ranges and will join models from other Stellantis brands.

The addition of Fiat and Abarth to the two sites comes shortly after Robins & Day and Stellantis announced its new group name of Robins & Day by Stellantis &You UK marking a step towards alignment between the two brands.

James Weston, chief executive, Robins & Day, who spoke to AM for a profile feature on the business, said: “We are delighted to embark on this exciting new chapter of our Robins & Day by Stellantis &You UK journey.

"We pride ourselves on providing excellent customer experience and working hard to anticipate customer needs, so we’re thrilled to be welcoming two iconic brands, Fiat and Abarth, into our ever-growing portfolio.

“Both locations reflect our continued investment in premises, ensuring we offer the best products and service facilities to our customers.”

The addition of Fiat and Abarth will continue to feed into its overarching multi-brand representation strategy across its existing and future network. Currently, 17 of its 29 dealerships across the UK are now multi-franchise.

Greg Taylor, managing director, Fiat and Abarth, said: “Robins & Day has over 100 years of experience in the UK, so we know our customers will get the attention they look for when it comes to new vehicles and their high expectations when it comes to service.

“We’re excited to be in a position where we can continue to expand outlets where our brands can grow even further. I hope this is the first of many sites with James Weston and his team.”

Robins & Day has 24 Peugeot, 17 Citroën, 6 DS, 7 Vauxhall, 2 Fiat, 2 Abarth new car franchise dealerships and 5 Distrigo trade parts hubs across 34 locations in the UK.
