Citroen has launched a new version of the C3 Aircross compact SUV, which is on sale in retailers priced from £17,320.

The facelifted model introduces a refreshed look, plus some interior changes to boost practicality.

Styling changes are most noticeable at the front, where the C3 Aircross gains a sharper-looking front end. The split front headlight design remains, but features sleeker lamps that integrate with a new upper grille.

The lower portion of the bumper features a second air intake, which Citroen says gives a more “assertive” look.

New alloy wheel designs are offered, along with an enhanced colour palette and new colour packs, which allow buyers to customise selected trim pieces around the car.

Inside, the new C3 Aircross can be specified with Citroen’s Advanced Comfort seats, as found in the larger C5 Aircross and new C4.

There is also a new central console with a closed storage compartment, revised handbrake and new integrated cupholders.

Buyers can choose from two petrol and one diesel engine. The entry-level PureTech 110 and BlueHDI 110 are paired with a six speed manual, while a PureTech 130 uses an eight-speed auto.

The C3 Aircross SUV is available with a choice of three trim levels: C-Series, Shine and Shine Plus.

Standard equipment across the line-up includes alloy wheels, LED headlights, rear parking sensors, cruise control, lane departure warning, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.

The Shine trim includes Active Safety Brake, a new, larger nine-inch touchscreen with satnav, as well as a 'Flex Load/Pull Out' boot floor.

Range topping Shine Plus models are fitted with keyless entry and start, Advanced Comfort seats, front parking sensors with reversing camera and larger 17-inch alloy wheels.

The car has already arrived at Citroen retailers and Citroen UK also offers customers the opportunity to complete their entire purchase online through a dedicated web portal.
